April,

Between the yoghurt, the berries and the addition of air from blending, it makes about 9 cups. This recipe is intended to have leftovers. I don't exceed 2 cups in any given day. Four cups at one sitting would make me ill.

Elaine recommends a maximum of 3 cups per day for adults. See this page for more info: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/yoghurt_amount.htm .

this looks wonderful. but 9 cups? i have a question. i make
a smoothie dinner almost every night. 4 cups yogurt
1/2 banana and spoonful of cooked blueberries, a little honey. then i
drink the whole thing. at once. do you think 4 cups
of scd yogurt is too much for a day's supply? i have read
that too much can cause die off.. but what is too much? i can not
pinpoint this cause/effect in my health.
