SCD survey hopes to gain medical research interest

One of the problems the SCD faces is the lack of large scale, randomized, controlled studies. Without these studies, western medicine as a whole will not teach their doctors about the SCD and the doctors in turn may find themselves unable to recommend it to their patients. The current medical consensus is that diet has no affect on Crohn’s, Colitits or Autism.

The SCD will have to succeed solely on it’s merits, not upon its profitability. So to that end, you can help out the research cause by visiting the survey at the offical BTVC website. The story is that a doctor’s wife had a “dramatic total remission” of her Ulcerative Colitis and he was so impressed by the results that he hopes to garner medical research interest by tabulating enough “hard confirmed” remissions.

I’m in year four of the SCD and when that ends, I will be having a colonoscopy and small bowel follow-through to get my “hard confirmed” remission.

It’s short so it won’t take much of your time.

Give it a look.
