I received an email from the CCFA today telling me about an upcoming interactive teleconference/webcast entitled “Diet, Nutrition & Inflammatory Bowel Diseases: Understanding the Connection.” It is a “live and interactive event” and requires free registration. You can participate either by phone or by webcast. It will have a question and answer period.
Curious note: The event is sponsored by Shire, Inc. I presume that this is the same Shire listed on CCFA’s corporate partner’s page, but I cannot confirm this. Shire is the maker of Lialda (mesalamine) and if they are the sponsor of this event on diet and nutrition I’m a little surprised. And a little wary. But very interested.
