Several notes regarding this Slashfood article:
- Use home made garlic powder instead of store bought.
- Canola oil is to be avoided, but you need a high smoke point oil. I like walnut oil.
- At an oven temperature of 400 degrees, I expect that there will be some smoke regardless.
- You may also want to consider brining your chicken.
