If you read this blog, you know a couple of things: gut flora affects your health and stress can cause flares. You’ve probably been told by your doctors to avoid stress, but I was never told how it could precipitate a flare.
A recent study at Ohio State University indicates that stress in a mouse model affects the gut flora. Perhaps this study shows the mechanism by which stress can cascade to a flare.
