Only three gut types?

An article in the online journal Naturenews reports that the European Molecular Biology Laboratory has released a study concluding that humans have three different [microbial] gut types.

    That’s very interesting. I would have guessed more types. I wonder if they took a group of autistics, IBD’ers and autoimmune folks and compared them to the normal population if that would still be true.
