“Obamacare” explained in plain english

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, a.k.a “Obamacare” is a controversial piece of legislation in the U.S. that is hard to wrap your mind around. A popular post on Reddit aims to explain it simply. The poster seems to write fairly neutral and provides extensive citations. I’m sure this is of keen interest to you my dear readers, as all of us have preexisting conditions and have had at one time or another experienced difficulty with insurance. For instance, when I first moved to Illinois and was between jobs, I was refused coverage because of my Crohn’s.
