Greetings. Has anyone had to take an antibiotic while on the SC diet? I would appreciate any help I can get on this. Thank you Basha

Hi Paul, thank you for this website! It looks like you haven’t done an update on a while, and I completely understand that life is demanding! Was wondering how your doing? I was diagnosed with Crohn’s about 5 Months ago and have begun the SCD diet journey. Thanks again, hope you feel well!

        Travis,

You’re welcome. I do feel well, thanks.

I’m to the point now where I am no longer SCD. I eat like an average person. I have virtually no pain – only occasional twinges. I go the bathroom more than I would like, but that is the tradeoff for drinking a lot of coffee.

I don’t see a GI on a regular basis. I found it only produced stress and anxiety and neither of those are good for Crohn’s. I will go see him if I need to. I am taking no meds as my quality of life is good. I am not cured. I imagine the constriction of my ileum continues, but I think I’m doing the best that I can expect.

I hope things go well for you and you find some relief in the SCD.

        -Paul
